Endeavour to be Better
Endeavour to be Better is a peer mentor program within the Never Alone with Addictions program.
This program has been active in Merritt since the summer of 2018 and we are looking forward to continued learning for all those who benefit from their involvement.
Early on we focused on peer connection but as time has passed, we have been able to realize a benefit to offering additional opportunities including some work experience and community cleanup. These opportunities allow peers and mentors to work together on a common goal while sharing challenges, successes, and an overall understanding.
As with many programs, we are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We encourage all those with shared experience who believe that they can contribute as a peer mentor to contact our team at our facility or call 250-315-0155 to speak about any possible involvement.
